New Orleans and Its Good Times

Wednesday June 25th, 2008, Huntleigh USA has been in MSY (New Orleans International Airport) for many years and has experienced many changes internally and in the industry. In September 2008, Huntleigh USA - MSY hired Ms. Donielle Gerarve as the new General Manager. 

Prior to joining Huntleigh USA, Donielle had just completed 20 years of employment with Continental Airlines and held many positions over those years. She was a Customer Service Supervisor in West Palm Beach and assisted with opening the Greensboro, NC station. After 20 years with Continental Airlines, she "thought she was done with life at the airport" until being interviewed by Huntleigh USA Regional Manager, Simon Robinson. During her interview, Simon knew immediately she had a valuable wealth of experience and that her personality was deemed to be a perfect fit for Huntleigh. 

Since joining Huntleigh, Donielle has excelled in every way and has turned the station into a solid operation. If you visit the station you can feel the sense of unity and pride. Most recently, the staff threw Donielle a surprise birthday party and pinned their own hard earned money to her jacket (a New Orleans birthday ritual).

It is a testament to her dedication and her spirit, that while Huntleigh Management was meeting with the American Airlines MSY Station Manager, Frank Martino, Frank expressed his enjoyment and respect for Donielle's efforts and couldn't feel better about Huntleigh's business partnership at MSY.

“We look forward to working with Donielle for many years to come”, says Denise Pinner, Huntleigh's Operations Supervisor at MSY. “She has been a dream to work with and the team spirit is very strong among us all. We couldn't feel more confident and we look forward to one day expanding (our services) with Donielle as our General Manager.”
